About Hälsa Wax Spa

Hälsa means “to greet” in Swedish.

Hello and welcome! I’m Brita (she/her), owner of Hälsa Wax Spa. I founded my business with the motto “Waxing For All”, which encompasses my mission to provide expert hair removal to all genders and bodies. I am passionate about recognizing this underserved community, and the need for gender affirming services in the beauty industry. All races, orientations, and presentations are celebrated and welcome here. Hälsa offers Seattle’s first gender-neutral service menu in a positive, inviting space.

I have 15 years of experience as a licensed esthetician, specializing in waxing for the past 12 years. I have perfected a quick and precise technique, ensuring the most comfortable and painless experience possible while paying close attention to detail and your preferences.

My clients often comment on how “quick and easy” their experience is. I use only the highest quality wax and products, and advise my clients on the best way to care for their skin after the service.

I was born and raised in Seattle, and am also a licensed fear-free dog trainer, working with shelter dogs to help them find their forever homes.
